Vision
Nayi Raahein run and financed by Dr. Gopi Chand Bhargava Memorial Trust firmly believes in working on the lines of changes brought in the education system by the government to bring about large scale change and therefore our programs are aimed at supplementing rather than replacing government efforts. Lack of focus on life skills has been identified by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) as a major gap in the Indian education system. Hence, the recent CBSE guidelines have recommended the inclusion of life skills with moral and ethical human values in their curriculum. In the light of the fact that our society these days is highly plagued with ailments like crime against women, apathy towards elderly, irresponsible citizen behavior etc, one can easily conclude that we, as a society, need to understand the importance of morality and empathy. We also work with other school systems and communities to plan and implement our programs. Many volunteers, especially youngsters, work with us to implement the interventions at the grassroots. These volunteers not only help us in effective implementation of our programs, but also help build capacities at the grassroots for providing quality education to the children.
